My passion for photography started young, with my dad capturing all our childhood memories & displaying them proudly around the house.
As a teen, my dad gave me my first entirely manual film SLR – and off we went shooting weddings together.
With time, my love for photography bloomed and at 19, I decided to make the move from Darwin to Sydney to complete a BA of Visual Communication (Photography & Imaging) at Western Sydney University.
I’ve been fortunate in my career to be the official photographer for two universities – Western Sydney University and Charles Darwin University – as well as the Features Photographer for the Territory’s humorous NT News. And now, I’m thrilled to be running my own business, working with wonderful couples to capture their special wedding day.
I often get asked what my favourite type of photography is – and my response is simple: anything involving people. Both my parents come from a welfare background and have an amazing ability to connect and listen. They have been such a great example to me and have encouraged my love and interest in people.
I love capturing human connection and the way people feel about each other. Everybody has a story, so if I ask too many questions, it’s so I can get to know you a little in a short time and capture you as accurately as possible.
